Sired by Tuff Duff X Fairwether 1930 (858 Blue Tag daughter)
This is our keeper Tuff Duff ram lamb for 2011. He brings the Tuff Duff shag and bone and combines it with the “858” hip dimension and unprecedented touch and eye appeal. This ram should be our top replacement for Tuff Duff in 2012. His angular body type and shallow chest floor should add some style to the powerful “Leo” genetics that Tuff Duff possessed. His twin brother was one of our top wethers for 2011.

Big Red is sired by our Red Tag ram who also sired our 2010 Clash of Champions Grand Champion “Ravishing Red Ruby”.

JOCK JAM
Jock Jam is an embryo transfer ram purchased in 2011 from Brian Reilley. He is sired by James Duffy's "Young Jock" (Long John X Leo). Jock Jam's mother (Impact 670 y) is one of Brian's most popular wether making ewes in the flock and has produced many top show lambs including the overall Grand at the 2008 Wisconsin State Fair. We are excited to bring in Impact genetics which is blended with the Duffy genetics we have used successfully the past few years.

SHROYER 13
(Picasso, son of the legendary Masterpiece and a Blue Chip Daughter). Picasso has produced many great ones himself, including the Supreme Champion Ewe at Sedalia last summer. Thanks to John and Lori for this fellow.

	TUFF DUFF Tuff Duff is our 2009 blue-chip ram lamb recruit, out of New Mexico, acquired from James Duffy last spring. He is sired by "Wooly Mammoth" and his dam is a "Leo" daughter. We don't out-cross often but this guy could be an "impact player". His strengths include: structural correctness, bone, rib-shape, and touch.

	LAST HURRAH Last Hurrah is our 2009 keeper ram lamb sired by "Lasting Impression" (Schminke) and his Dam (620 daughter) was a former champion in the show ring herself in 2008. His strengths include: structural correctness, hip shape and dimension in all 3 directions, rack shape and loin structure.

	FAIRWETHER 620 Edge X FairWether 404) This Edge son made his mark by adding his unbeatable profile to the power in our ewe base. After two highly successful breeding seasons in 2007 and 2008 and siring nearly all our major winners in this time span, 620 continues to be the Brett Favre of the farm. He was injured last season after breeding only a few ewes so we were disappointed not to have many 620 lambs in 2009. His strengths include: structural correctness, balance, eye appeal, bone, body length and rack shape. He throws a combination of style and power.
